Delete your GridTicker account

This page is for the GridTicker app, from GridTicker LLC. You can delete your account yourself at any time, or ask us to do it for you.

How to delete your account

In the app or on the web

1. Sign in to GridTicker.
2. Open Settings → Account.
3. Under Delete account, enter your password and type your username to confirm.
4. Press Delete my account.

By email

If you can't sign in, write to support@gridticker.com with your username and ask us to delete your account. We'll check it's yours and confirm once it's done, within 30 days.

What is deleted

Straight away:

• your account: username, display name and password;
• your settings, including your teams, watchlists, the aircraft you follow and your home location;
• your connections to fantasy sports services, and their access tokens;
• your LED panels, with their setup records, hardware readings and diagnostics;
• your phone widget links, which stop working.

Every GridTicker LED panel on your account forgets your Wi-Fi and goes back to setup within a few minutes. A panel that's unplugged does this the next time it's switched on.

What is kept, and for how long

• Backups: copies of your information in our database backups are deleted as those backups reach 30 days old.
• Server logs: requests you made, with your IP address, stay in our logs until they're replaced, usually within about two weeks.
• Invitations: the record that an invitation was sent and used is kept, without your name on it.
